GS Chopper
« on: August 05, 2009, 08:52:22 pm »

Here is a picture of the GS550 chopper project I have going. It's going to have a 12" over springer, rigid rear, king-queen seat, 49" sissy bar. Hopefully it will be a roller by the end of the week.

Not sure. This is the only one I have chopped, I promise! I never have cared for the OCC style choppers but had an Uncle who had a radical 750 chop way back when. That bike was so freakin cool. There doesn't seem to be any of those old chops around anymore so I thought I should build this one. The bike had 1394 miles on the odometer, I know it has been parked for the past 24 years. It was in pretty sad cosmetic shape for that low miles. It's going to look a LOT better soon. Can you hear the "Chopper Fever" in my typing?

The springer finally came in. I attached a picture with some more progress, the rigid rear is close to finished. Not much Suzuki left except the engine!
