2001 dyna
« on: September 23, 2008, 02:18:08 am »

i've long been convince the dyna family is the best factory bike h.d. makes. i8 just finished this one.. it got a slight face lift.. it was the all blacked out version.. no forwards , sorta plain.. fist thing was when the fella had a starter issue.. the local starter shop does h.d. stuff too.. after talking more to the bikes owner i went after. it.. dakota digital speedo & mid glide trees from vulcan engineering

it had the standard hooded headlite. so with the mid glide set up the chrome lite was added, as well as the mini apes.. the bars & the new mustang seat got it nice & comfy to cruise on..

this bike had mid shift controls on it also.. the forwards were added & that made it much better feeling to me..all the chrome dots on the motor tranny & other areas really stood out nice.. i spiffed up the lic. plate some & he had to have this odd sort of lite lense for the tail lite , but it looked o.k. like how i put cut outs in the heat sheilds to match the slots in the hand levers & then blacked them out over the new chrome pipes.. that dakota digital speedo puzzled hooked us up with is the cats ass.. very nice addition to any bike.

If you saw two guys named Hambone and Flippy, which one would you think liked dolphins the most? I'd say Flippy, wouldn't you? You'd be wrong, though. It's Hambone.
