Thought I share a little story...
« on: January 10, 2012, 10:17:44 am »

Well you might be able to tell that I am a little bored this morning haha
Misses still in bed, son watching cars dogs lying down..

Waiting for a couple of deliveries to arrive before I can go to work..

I mean pretty boring morning really...

I thought I share a little story about when I got the Harley just after New Years..!

I decided that with the Honda off the road I should sell the truck to fund another bike..
The Land Cruiser had been stored in the garage for nearly a year and was dragged out for an MOT test just on the day before Christmas eve because the normal car would not start..

So with the truck now being road legal again having paid tax and with a fresh MOT it was costing money in insurance etc.. so I listed her on ebay stating I would PX a sportster.

I got a response the next morning of a fella wanting to swap a 2010 sportster..
I drove 70+ mile there only to be messed about by the shithead.
He offered me a lot less, he must have thought that someone driving that far was not going to say no to a deal..

Being a trucker I am not bothered by a little drive so I got in a fucked off home..

That day I got a message from the fella with my now new bike..

Numerous calls, emails and pictures later we decided to meet up just over 80 mile from my house smack bang in the middle between us..

When I got there I obviously liked the bike and he liked the truck..
So papers got signed and a swap got done..

I realised I had forgotten my jacked...
Always nice in winter in the UK... hahahaha
I bought a snugly blanket for under my hoody and went on my merry way..

I was cold.... haha my nipples where going to be separated from my body they where that still and cold..

Keeping a brave face to other riders along the motorway I made it to a services about 30 mile later...
Bought a "weather tight" jacked and warmed up a little..

after a few minutes I went off again..

Somewhere along the motorway my backlight and numberplate bracket flew off...
..
Once someone told me I just carried on...   8)

Once home my 2 1/2 year old son loved the bike...
I went to visit a couple of mates and then tucked her in the garage ready for going to work on the morning..

sorry to have bored you with my novel but why should I be bored on my own this morning.....   :P
