we got new members joining daily  .. lots of them.. & not a fresh post one.. i'm truly disgusted.. you got a place to speak as you will & make whatever you want of this board.. but no takers.. hey wolf , if you look in here & read this , i think its time to pull the plug.. fuck it.. i aint got the time to waste .. all i do is approve members for nothin' .. numbers aint shit if they dont speak.. this board dead ,  maybe forums like this have run their coarse..

PULL DA PLUG , ADIOS ..

i would like to thank all those who have put forth the effort to try & get this board up.. i sent a mail to wolf requesting to pull the plug.. the name alone brings alot of hits on a websearch which accounts for the masses of new people.. that in itself alone just aint enough..

Dave all the Forums are slow Brother only the old die-hards are left. But One day it will come back around as for now it is nothing but a waiting game. We can wait it out, and for those that do post it can be here for them to keep in touch.You are right in the fact that numbers don't mean a thing, it is the everyday post that matters but then again we are in no competition with any one this forum was build so that Bikers could come here and talk Bikes not what color I should paint my helmet? So Guys we are here for the long run. What you make of it is what you have. Later my Brothers.

as usual , you are much more level headed & a more patient man than i am.. i'll go with your opinions & thoughts on this .. i aint much of a quitter anyhow.. frustration is a bitch though.. no one even responded to the plug pulling suggestion.. maybe we should reformat to be a lesbian biker site ;D ;D ;D ,, at least that would liven shit up..

Sorry Dave...I'm one of the slackers you're talking about.  I haven't been posting much on any of the sites lately.  I read 'em pretty regular...just don't have a bunch to say.

Work is work...not enough money to do anything bike related except ride of course.  The house is a money pit...you know the deal.   :'(

Just kinda busy and not much to say in the end.  It'll pick up whe the fall and winter kick in and people are in the house more with more time to post.

Yuuup... I'ma  slacker too, I'll admit.  Got every excuse under the sun as to why I've been silent but in the end it don't wash nuth'n.  But know this... I DO check in on this site at least once a day (more if the work load is slow at the office).  I'd contribute more to the site if I had near any of the skills like you folks have to offer.  Till such time about all I can do is sit idly behind and learn from the advice and expertiese you folks graciously offer them that get caught between a rock and a hard place in their repairs and fabrications.  And... if I ain't work'n, I'm either at work doing the daily grind or back at the homestead getting my shop finished... or try'n to between fish runs, clam tides and moose season.

I will definately be contributing this winter once I begin to tear down this 81 shovel, rebuild and reinvent her lines, and FINALY get to apply some of the helpful insight you folks have shared on line.  Plus, I'll be groveling for help ta find parts and bits here and there to complete the fabrication.

Hang in there guys... the forum will pick back up soon again.

hell, ya want guys to get involved do it from the start..... make it go/no go in the entrance process.... specific questions have to be answered as they "apply" for membership.... if they aren't trolling for little blue pills or some bride from wherethefuckever, then let them in.... then they have to do an intro post to view pics...might make it a pita at 4 am for the guy lurkin, but oh fuckin well

 i am a complete slacker.... Dave asked me for pics of my bike 8 months ago.... still aint got a camera.... and that being said, i still have a beat right side case to ship back to Big Jim .....

and all that aside, i really have not had a bit of energy to do a damn thing..... got fired, for standing up to not telling lies and bullshitting, back in June.... had a few bright moments, but thats about it....  been looking for a job doing what i know how to do very well, and the market is flooded with people who just got out of school who don't know their ass from a hole in the ground .....

but this is a bike site, and not the local hair salon so pardon my Logorrhea

Not only are the bikes sites slow but rather most sites. For the most part summer has people out and about. Those of us with families are dealing with vacations, back to school and what not. For my household it is Scouts for all 3 children, my wifes bicycle marathon training, me drag racing than toss in work, volunteer work when I can and there just isn't enough time. I walk around like a zombie all tired running on 5 hours sleep. I dozed off a few weeks ago sitting in the truck waiting to get into the drag strip. I knew I was not going to be sharp that night. LIFE, it is what it is.
