yea, I got two powerlifting belts from years gone by and neither one of them are long enough to go around my ass now. I suspect duct tape would do the job, but that would probably require too much goof off to remove the tape residue after a few hours use. That rigid will beat the shit out of you on the roads around here. The cheap bastards won't spend any money on pothole repairs, and it's getting worse by the day.

I ant that big, 275, 6', but sitting on a 4" dropped seat rigid frame makes me look like a grasshopper. I didn't want to spring the seat, if I did, why would I build a drop seat rig. I run about 18lbs of air in the rear tire, that helps a little, then I try and watch the road for stupid unlevel shit. That don't work much in the dark though.

Ohhhhhh Gater...I got a early spool wheel that was for a drum rake (front)...Boooo
Need the adaptor and bolts that HD came out with that bolts onto the spool so ya can put on a disc brake..
Aparently that are more rare than a frog with hair on it's butt.

Was the spool wheel originally set up for a Sporty application? I seen some brake hub setup this past weekend in Charlotte that might would have been what you need. I could have picked them up for a song...damn cheap and they had all the brake parts intact. I almost bought all of them just for the hell of it, now I wish I had...gator

I'd say that came off a 37 to 39 Knucklehead, springer front end like the old knucklebusters. You can get the parts for it on fleabay I suspect, but they won't be cheap.

I suspect you can fetch some decent money for it if you put it up for bid like it is.

I don't think I have ever seen an adapter just like that. I would try and contact their customer support, maybe send them a picture of your wheel (hub) and see what they tell you. It looks like they may have more than one application available.

It's not the one I need.
The one I need is dual flanged...one side bolts to the wheel and the outer bolts onto the disc.
I have talked to the local shops and they just roll their eyes since they only made them for a couple of years.

I'll find one soon er or later.

No, just one..the one that will fit this wheel, they are two styles and he has both.
One was $90.00 the other was $135.00.
Sounded real high to me (maybe ya can smoose him into a lower price?

) but parts are where ya find them and he got em'.

He's the only one in 2 years that even said he had one.

Really, it seems the piece that I need is rarer than hens teath...(they want $250.00 here to make one, I don't have access to a machine shop for me to make one any more) no after market peaces were made that I know of. I've done a lot of lookin' and a talkin'.
