Once was lost.... NOW I'm found!
« on: November 27, 2011, 06:04:13 am »

Hey Homies!! ;D

Been a while... sorry'bout that.  Life threw me some serious curve balls this past year.  Been an ongoing effort just keep'n from strike'n out, seemingly on a monthly basis.  But by GAWD I hung in there and rose above it.  I think I'm stand'n on solid ground again.  I'll know for sure by this Spring.  Sorta gun shy at the moment and untrust'n of get'n too comfortable like I wuz before.  But... all that aside... I got me shop done!  Spent the day, today, add'n a heavy duty snow plow on my 4 wheeler.  Just got in from the cold apply'n it to the driveway this evening.  Man that sumbitch gets with it.  I been purposefully tell'n folks that offer to plow my drive (for nuth'n) not to 'cause i been save'n up for this new plow.  Well... talk about a whoop ass rig this turned out to be... WhoooHOOO.  60 inches of snow grab'n blade, heavy duty steel (so I can really slam into burms and move'm outta the way quick).  Took me fifteen minutes from start to finish to plow both the sides to my shop and the entire circle driveway, and their entrances, of a good foot of accumulated, packed and fairly dense, snow.  I even carved out where the borough snow plow has been pack'n my driveway entrances in with their snow burms (fuckers...) and shoved it all back out onto the street.  They can move it further down the street, now, when they come back... heh, heh... ;D  I think tomorrow I'll grow a wild hair and go plow out some neighbors on the block, too.  Sure beats the shit outta shovel'n and snow-blow'n... fun, too!

Now that I'm back in the saddle in another shop the mission at hand, now, will be to start build'n work benches and shelving.  I figure $100 or so a paycheck will do nicely in buy'n the lumber for that without strain'n the budget any.  This Spring I'll have the shop ready to receive all my foundry stuff that's still in storage.  Probably have to edjumicate myself all over again on how to use the damn stuff as it's been since '06 that i've even touched any of it.

Anywhoo... I'll try to stay more connected to this site in the days-months ahead.  Hopefully, by Spring I'll start finally chop'n on that '81 shovel I got'hold of.  Gonna start with a frame jig first.  Got me an awesome base for one give'n to me recently.  I'll share in that build as it develops.

Missed you guys, now that I've realized just how long it's been since I popped in here.  FUCK... the distractions and shit storms in my life have been incredible lately.  Guess what don't kill ya can only make ya stronger, huh.

CHeers, guys....

Welcome back man...

I know what you mean about the trials and tribulations...so much shit to do and little time to do it in for me.  Some extra bucks wouldn't hurt the situation either!!!!
