I picked up the airbrush on December 30th 2011 for the first time.  I got a friend to donate his helmet for a test paint job.

It was/ is flat black, he wanted the paint to be gray or white only.  I thought I'd give a FINK a try.

This is what I got after a few hours of fucking around.  Is there a sealer I can use that won't make the helmet look shinny?

I've never used matt finish top coat on flat paint.  Recommendations anyone?

The airbrush paint is waterbase, from Eastwood, they say it can be cleared after it dries...wtf?  I don't know....gator

Gator, House of color makes what they call inter coat clear It  is about 34.00 a quart but has a long shelf life. This clear will not eat up paints like other's do. I love it for going over air-bushing do to the fact you can clear over each color and if there is a mess up sand it right out. Nice job on the Fink. Big Daddy would be Proud of you.
