started this project awhile ago. A non-mechanical friend of mine wanted to give his shovel head a make over, and I offered to help... well it's been a long road, as it ended up with me taking command of the project and my friend mostly watching. If he were not my friend he'd be getting charged the $150.00 I'm gonna watch you work fee. Anyway, here she sits, I'm trying to find some before pictures, but I seem to have lost them in the multiple crashes my computer had over the last few months. We stripped the bike completely down and sent the frame and a bunch of parts to powdercoat. pulled the heads and had them bead blasted and the valve covers polished. Dave, you'll the the oil tank and battery box I got from you in there too. I'll keep the progress coming.

yes she is a purty gal.. i know where theres some tech cycle 4 speed belt drive stuff .. are there any other items i can help out with there brother.. i'd be glad to add to the kitty..

Thanks, But I think I pretty much have her set to go. I'm waiting on a few odds and ends and she'll be going together right quick.

caint beat that.. i just got a shovel in to repair & after the guy lied about everything he could making it harder & more time consuming to chase his cooties out of the bike.. i told him today to come get it.. i aint got time for games.. but i was looking forward to even getting to patch up another shovel..

Is the tank done in gold leaf or paint? Hard to tell from the pic. Nice, though. I love gold leaf, but there's paint that kinda looks like that too.

I believe it's paint, I didn't get the paint work done so I don't know for sure. it is difficult to tell one way or the other...

looks to be varigated gold leaf..... that stuff has has bits of copper mixed in to break it up.... if thats paint, i want some

oooh, didnt that turn out NICE! Love the mix of old & new....banana caliper, shocks, chrome batt box, & modern seat & wheels...Nice job on the wiring, too. Everything heatshrunk, braided. That doesn't get done in five minutes.
