Very cool, I like the oil tank sitting out to the side like you have it. On a low slung seat like you're building I think it looks appropriate...

He is linking them to the forum. Not putting them direct were the forum cuts them down for size to not fill up the data base. right click on the picture he has and hit properties you will see that they are linked here from http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p23/gatorxxx/Gator%20Transport%20Sugarshack/fendercut10-25-08.jpg which is a sever for pictures.

That's my buddy cutting his rear fender for a Redneck custom build he is doing.  He is 6' 4" and had a frame custom built for himself.  It won't fit on my or his lift without a jack stand in the middle of the frame.  Its to long, rear wheel hangs off the lift.  He was at the house during the Harleyween party, so we got his fender out and went to chopping on it.  I took the picture.  You are right, they are drinking my beer, and we did have a good time.

I think my favourite feature is the ribbed fender. next to the beer fridge, of course.

Well, it ain't as easy to swap bars as it is front fenders,(I've never made my mind up about my fenders, so I had both painted & striped) but if ya have both, you're good for when she feels like hangin', and somedays she feels like draggin'.

I've got good & bad comments about both fenders, and I still cannot "cast in stone" one or the other. About your bars, I'm sure If had to decide, I'd probably choose the drags, cause they'd look sharp, and I personally like 'em. I had 'em on mine and would switch back if I had a special quickchange invisible plug to pull them off in 1/2 hour or so. Hey... anyone know where that plug is sold?

very innovative stuff.. with all the mounts i think i'd weld tabs versus so many clamps.. a few clamps looks good.. too many, i domnt know.. good mount on the oil filter.. the fuel filter may be more restrictive than you want.. you'll need a high flow fuel valve for sure.. its hard to say on bars.. i'm a fan of drag type bars, but mini apes do work nicely on some bikes..

Well, I got the frame back.  It's not powdercoated.  We couldn't fine any numbers on the frame.  Seems that Detroit Bros. won't stamping frames when they started to sell them.

I've had it two years and just realized it don't have a vin#.  I called DMV  and they said I needed to get it inspected by their man and he would stamp it.  All the want is tax and tracking data.  Now I got to jump through some more hoops before I get it powdercoated...wtf, always something..

they didnt send you an m.s.o. ?? call them up.. see if they will issue you one.. i'll bet they will .. i've talked with those ole' boys & they seem pretty up forward.. then stamp the numbers they send on the m.s.o. & your hot to trot.. i've got m.s.o. 's from shit that was used on already titled bikes.. but i've long feared to get rid of them... not sure what technicalities could arise.. lots of guys want them.. but me & jail aint on as good a terms as we used to be.. ;D ;D so i keep them here on my desk..

Well, I took the frame back to the powdercoater today,Dec.2nd after talking with DMV about the lack of a vin#.  They told me to complete the bike then have it inspected and I could apply for a vin# sticker for the frame.  wtf is up with that?  A fucking sticker?  I'll stamp the frame with the number when I get it.

yea, I'm having the coater to tape off a spot on the peg mount at the front of the frame under the voltage regulator.  I'll stamp it then rattlecan the area to keep it from rusting, or just leave it raw..

I got the frame back.  It looks good.  To good for a rat.  I took the exhaust header and tip, had it ceramic coated the same color as the frame (satin simi gloss black)  Now everything I do to it don't see to be in respect to the rat project I started out trying to build..
