ok here we go

FIRST OFF...I KNOW THE GARAGE FLOOR IS A MESS....BUT ITS MY MESS...I CAN FIND ANYTHING I NEED IN IT.....

OK....wrapped the pipes...re-wired the battery box...new charging system...new ignition system....check

Re-wired ignition and brake lights....new enclosed style dry primary (bdl 1.5")...rebuilt my starter to accommodate new clutch assembly....check.....time to fire her up

well talk about a fukked up day....
took her out for a shake down run...
lost a chrome acorn nut off the front axle...cant find the damn thing and get towed home....put bike in garage on kick stand with weight on off side so the axle dont fall out while i find a nut to hold it....and this happens
yes that's the WIFE'S CAR....yes the bike fell into it...yes now i have to fix it before i can invest anymore time or money in the chopper.....fukk a dukk what a day....

aye that i do, it is the exact same thread as a tow ball....very fine thread...ask me how i know a tow ball nut fits it.......road side emergency repair.......lol
the nut i have on the springer is a large acorn style nut on one side and a tow ball nut on the other

i dont know about a towball .. 3/4 shank trailer ball nut  i would imagine fits it.. but i have a set of stainless acorn axle nuts i can give you..  ;D.. thats a dna springer with a 3/4 axle..

get with me on those axle nuts.. put em' on with a dab of red loctite.. they wont fall off no  more..
