3 quarts of 20 W 50 for the engine...In an '01 you might want / need to use synthetic.  I don't know what originally came in the engine, but have always been told that once you use synthetic, you do not want to use put dino oil in it.

For the tranny / primary, I use HD Formula Plus...I can't find a weight on the bottle.  You might just want to stop by the stealership and pick up a bottle.  You shouldn't use all of it.

If you need instruction on "how to" on the tranny / primary oil change just give me a shout...it isn't hard.  There's a good set of instructions (with pictures) somewhere on one of the sites I occasionally go to.  If you need the link, I could probably find it.

Just let me know.

the primary & tranny oil is a special blend for both.. i use rev-tech pure in a fossil oil for the engine.. 25w60 .. in synthetics theres lots of other choices too .. the primary & gearcase oil is all in the same.. one oil lubes them both on a sporty..
