Some Up Grades
« on: September 23, 2008, 11:29:55 pm »

Hey just added a new Klock Werks 8" dark smoke screen to my RoadGlide.  This little add has cut down on the turbulance around my head and between me and the fairing.  I think it has helped the radio/sound system a bit too.  Will post a picture tomorrow.

How do you like the KW8" shield?

I had ordered a 8" and a 12" and have since sold both. The 8" looked cool but did squat for me as far as wind protection. The 12" wouldn't allow my flip up screen to open so I never got a chance to run it. I really like the looks of them which killed me to not be able to use one.

So far I like it.  It beats the hell out of the factory shorty.  I personally don't like looking thru a piece of plastic going down the road.  The KW8 meets my primary goal and that is to cut down on turbulance.  Beside bug are high in protein. LOL.

Well if your waiting till you get older, you wouldn't be looking at that one.  It will be water cooled, cup holders and A/C.  LOL.  Oh ya electric.

Spring is around the corner so I just laid down 1100 for a tour pak.  I really could have used one last year.  This spring were heading for the gulf, up and down both sides of Fl. and will wine are way to up-state NY for by buddies wedding.  Can't wait.  I'll post pix's after I install the pak.

Great pipes, the sound, seat of the pants torque and HP, and a few more mile per gal.
