Nice, at first glance it looks like a BMW Trike.

 I am like Mike, I don't like them cause of the heat issue, but looks cool, but to build one and sell it,grinn.
   I'd build one similar to the Nova trike and sell it too, lol.

Not that bad...BIG oil cooler takes up a lot of the heat.
I'm not quite sold on the "no tin" deal, but VW's are built sloppy, they will run under any condition.

 How do Harley's run with no tin? Vw's don't need the tin to run in an open air situation, they had tin, cause they were in an enclosed area where cooling was at a minum.
 They us vw motors in an airplane with no tin.

No harley that I know of ever had tin around the fins..................I dont know that much about VW's and I wonder'd about cooling issues.....wether the motor was up front or the back.
Obviously if a VW motor is mounted in the conventional way of doing so....yid need a Doghouse.

Them 4 pictures I put up a few posts earlier in this thread show a mid engine trike.....that same motor probobly cuda had a doghouse on it with the seat just a few inches down and a ways in front of it.....................or even a pancake motor...type 3 or type 4 ,that particular motor dont have a doghouse does it?
